Novick Urban Farm is a 501c3 educational production farm located on 1.3 acres in South Philadelphia, with a dual mission of providing healthy food access and education. With a focus on community outreach through our low cost farm market and our food and nutrition services, we are dedicated to supporting, preserving, and increasing access to food traditions that reflect the multi-cultural landscape of our neighborhood. The farm’s educational programs provide children’s groups, and people of all ages, hands-on experiences focused on sustainability, biodiversity and nutrition.
By providing hands-on learning experiences to local childcare programs and schools, we are able to educate our youth to make healthy eating choices and value sustainable agriculture.

The farm depends upon volunteers from the local community as well as the support of outside volunteer groups.
Working under the leadership of our Farm Team, volunteers, plant, weed, harvest, and do other vital work to bring organic produce to our neighbors in need. We welcome volunteer corporate teams as well as families to spend time on the farm doing good and having fun!
